Google Book after the tests Has it succeeded in competing with Windows computers and MacBooks?

In recent months, Google has unveiled a new laptop project called "Google Book" as a successor to the "Chrome Book" project, which offered a range of affordable laptops based on an operating system centered primarily around the Chrome browser, built entirely on the Android and Linux kernel technologies, giving it the ability to run Android applications.

But this time the company decided to take a different approach. Instead of leaving manufacturers free to offer computers with economical components, it set strict hardware requirements for companies seeking to launch "Google Book" computers.
These requirements aim to make this category of computers capable of competing with leading Windows and Apple computers that often come with prices exceeding the $1,000 mark. In doing so, Google is declaring that its laptops are no longer economical, and that they are capable of competing with the most powerful computers on the market.

The requirements set by Google include several strict rules, such as the computer having at least 16 gigabytes of RAM, using a backlit keyboard, vibrating touchpads, a fingerprint reader, high-quality touchscreens, high-quality speakers, as well as modern processors and a solid metal chassis that suggests the computer is luxurious.
Several other reviews from major technology sites such as the American technology site
"The Verge", "Android Authority" and even "9to5Google" also agree on the leading manufacturing quality of the "Google Book" devices that the company recently launched, but this does not mean that these devices are free of defects and drawbacks that prompted the majority of reviews to emphasize that the product is not ready at the moment and considered it a waste of money.
Furthermore, Google Books are priced very close to their competitors, whether Windows or Apple computers. According to the report, the new computers occupy only the same amount of space as Chromebooks, but at a higher price.
