The Indonesian U15 national team suffered a 1-6 defeat to Luxembourg in the Tier C quarter-final match of the 2026 FIFA U15 World Cup & Festival at Pitch 10A Hovsan Competition Complex.
In this match, Indonesia, coached by Furqon Alkatiri, fielded Renaldi Rizky, Muhammad Fayyad, Jasshen Janneiro, Reganatha Harfi, I Kadek Dwi, Daniel Febrianto, Muhammad Hariri, and Muhammad Nazar as the eight best players who played from the first minute.

Luxembourg, who dominated the first half, scored first in the seventh minute when they capitalized on a rebound from Indonesian goalkeeper Renaldy Rizky's save.

The opposing team had numerous chances, but Rizky managed to thwart them. Indonesia, on the other hand, struggled to build an attack. The first half ended with Luxembourg leading 0-1.

In the second half, Luxembourg were more clinical in front of goal. They scored their second goal in the 23rd minute with a quick attack from the back.

Indonesia managed to reduce the score to 1-2 in the 29th minute when Lyonel Musaling took advantage of the opponent's goalkeeper's mistake in failing to catch Indonesia's free kick properly.
