According to a report by ON Sport, Al-Ahly Benghazi of Libya is strongly interested in signing Yasser Ibrahim after the end of the season, with a financial offer exceeding one million dollars in addition to a signing bonus, which may represent a suitable option for the player given his current position regarding renewal negotiations.

The renewal crisis stems from a difference in the financial details of the new contract, as Al-Ahly had previously made an offer to Yasser Ibrahim for a period of 3 years.

The player also sought a one-time financial settlement of 10 million Egyptian pounds as compensation for a previous offer from Saudi club Al-Shabab, which Al-Ahly rejected, insisting on keeping the defender. However, the club's management refused this request.

Yasser Ibrahim is preparing to return to Al-Ahly training after the international break, having been sidelined with an injury that kept him out of recent matches.

Yasser Ibrahim’s contract with Al Ahly ends in June 2027, which means the player will be able to study his future further in the coming period if no agreement is reached regarding renewal.
