Kylian Mbappe scored France's only winning goal against Türkiye in the first round of the UEFA Nations League group stage at the Kocaelisk stadium.
Mbappe was injured while shooting the ball during the goal and was unable to complete the match before it was decided that he would leave the French camp and return to Madrid to undergo a medical examination.
Real Madrid announced after the match that medical tests conducted on Mbappe revealed he had suffered a strain in the back tissues of his left knee, confirming that the player would be under continuous monitoring.
