Executive Director of the Association for the Study of Government Law and Anti-Corruption, Oce Madril, reminded the Working Committee for the Draft Law on Asset Confiscation to maintain transparency in the drafting of the regulation, including by opening the latest draft to the public.

According to him, transparency in the draft is necessary so that the public knows how the various inputs submitted during the previous aspiration gathering process are accommodated in the latest formulation of the Asset Confiscation Bill.
He assessed that participation in the drafting of the bill had involved many parties. The legislative procedures through the national legislative program system had also been completed, so further attention needed to be directed to the substance of the regulations in the latest draft.
