For its part, Google explained that it is investigating the incident that led to the service disruption and is working to fix the problem and restore the cloud services associated with this center.

The British website "The Register" reported that the Google cloud center that went down is called "Europe-West 2" and is one of 3 different service centers located in the company's London cloud region.

The Google data center profile reveals that this center is responsible for providing cloud service to the entire Western Europe region in cooperation with other data centers, so its impact extended to it and was not limited to London.

A number of users on the Reddit platform indicated that many other services were affected, including the shutdown of the domain name system in some places.

For its part, Google Cloud has not offered any alternative solutions to its users at the moment, and said in a statement on its official page that the problem started yesterday at 23:08 Pacific Time , noting that its engineering team is investigating the problem and working to find a solution.
