The Saudi Arabian Federation for Automobiles and Motorcycles announced the exclusion of the Saudi Rally, scheduled to be held in Jeddah during November 2026, from the Middle East Rally Championship calendar.
A joint statement from the Saudi Arabian Motor Federation, in cooperation with the Saudi Arabian Motor Sports Company and in coordination with the International Automobile Federation, explained that the decision came after a comprehensive review of the organizational and logistical arrangements for the event, including operational readiness requirements and the necessary coordination to ensure compliance with approved technical and organizational standards, and to provide suitable conditions for participants and stakeholders.
The Federation and the Saudi Motorsport Company affirmed their commitment to continuing to develop motorsport in Saudi Arabia, enhancing cooperation with the International Automobile Federation and relevant bodies, and building upon past successes in hosting international and regional championships, thereby supporting Saudi Arabia’s presence on the global motorsport map.
