Central Bengkulu Regency Regional Secretary Tomi Marisi stated in Central Bengkulu on Thursday that the certainty was in line with the central government's budget support for PPPK salary payments in 2027.
"No PPPK were laid off or had their contracts terminated. The central government is providing additional budget support for PPPK," said Tomi.
A total of 810 PPPK in the Central Bengkulu Regency Government consists of 610 full-time PPPK and 200 part-time PPPK.
According to him, the PPPK work contract is valid for five years so that employees can continue to carry out their duties in accordance with applicable provisions.
However, the Central Bengkulu Regency Government has not yet announced the total budget required to pay the salaries of the 810 PPPK.
Tomi said the continuation of PPPK contracts follows central government policy, so employees need not worry about the sustainability of their employment status.
Previously, the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) and the government agreed that PPPK salaries in regional governments would be covered by the central government starting in 2027.
