Deputy TNI Commander General Tandyo Budi Revita, in Pandeglang, Saturday, said that the construction of this 18-kilometer road connects six villages that previously experienced accessibility problems due to severe road damage.

"The implementation of this TNI Community Service is a follow-up to President Prabowo Subianto's directive regarding the formation of a territorial development battalion to help overcome infrastructure obstacles in the regions," he said.

The completion of the infrastructure project was marked by the closing of the 2026 Large-Scale TNI Community Service by Deputy TNI Commander General Tandyo Budi Revita together with Banten Governor Andra Soni in Pandeglang.

Tandyo explained that the opening of this road was designed to boost economic activity among residents, reduce logistics costs, and facilitate community mobility in distributing agricultural products.

Banten Governor Andra Soni expressed his highest appreciation to the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) for their tangible synergy in opening up isolated regions and accelerating infrastructure development in remote areas.

"The construction of this road is very meaningful for the people of Pandeglang. We appreciate the TNI's continued presence to assist the Banten Provincial Government in accelerating accessibility and mobility for residents," he said.
