After a few minutes of calm in Gaza, with the ceasefire entering into force at 22:00 (19:00 GMT), a burst of rockets was launched in the airspace of the Strip towards Israel, according to Anadolu Agency.  Prior to that, the Israeli occupation warplanes launched attacks on targets in the Gaza Strip, which were met by rocket fire from the Palestinian factions towards Israeli cities and towns.  Earlier on Saturday, an informed Palestinian source told Anadolu Agency, preferring not to be named, that "Egypt presented a new formula for a ceasefire to end the Israeli escalation in Gaza, and it was approved by Israel, the Islamic Jihad movement and the Palestinian factions."  Anadolu Agency obtained a cease-fire agreement document between the Palestinian and Israeli sides, with Egyptian mediation and follow-up, as of "ten o'clock in the evening (local time) on May 13, 2023."  The document stated that "the ceasefire agreement, which includes stopping the targeting of civilians and the demolition of homes, as well as targeting individuals, will be adhered to immediately after the implementation of the ceasefire begins." Turkish intelligence managed to neutralize Haydar Demirel, who is called the general official of the Al-Hol Province of the PKK/YPG terrorist organization in northern Syria.
