Scientists have proven that eating nuts, olive oil, and whole grain products for breakfast is more beneficial to the body's health than eating eggs.
Scientists at the German Diabetes Research Center in Dusseldorf conducted an experiment in which volunteers were divided into two groups. The researchers asked members of the first group to eat whole grain products instead of meat, olive oil instead of butter, and nuts instead of eggs. As for the members of the second group, they did not change any of the items they ate at breakfast.
The results of the experiment showed that the health indicators of the members of the first group improved greatly. Eating nuts reduced the risk of cardiovascular disease by 17 percent and eating whole grain products and olive oil by 36 percent.
It is reported that nuts contain a large amount of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, dietary fiber, vitamins and mineral elements. Therefore, they are included in the list of products prescribed for the treatment and prevention of dementia (walnuts are especially useful). But heart disease, according to studies, is best prevented by eating almonds.
In addition, it has been proven that adding almonds to a low-calorie diet helps get rid of excess weight.
Vegetables reduce the risk of cancer!
According to Dr. Alexander Myasnikov, there is a type of vegetable that can reduce the risk of cancer. But it is not recommended for those who suffer from kidney stones to take it.
Myasnikov points out that beets have such an effect, thanks to their containment of the compound betaine-trimethylglycine. Beets also raise the level of iron in the body, improve heart function, and help get rid of excess weight.
He says: “Clinical studies have shown that betaine helps increase physical strength, increase muscle mass, and reduce fat reserves. Betaine-based drugs are also being produced to improve physical fitness.”
According to him, it is preferable to eat beets raw by adding them to salads or snacks, because heat treatment causes them to lose many of their beneficial properties.
He warns: “Despite its many health benefits, it is not recommended for people who suffer from kidney stones or other diseases associated with the formation of oxalates to eat beets and vegetables that contain a high percentage of oxalates.”
Healthy diet is a must.
