The agency reported that the attack "was designed in the style of the assassination of former Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah. Six bombs or missiles were used in the attack, targeting the building's entry and exit points to cut off exit routes and halt airflow."
The agency said, "After the explosions, the power was cut off on the floor in question, but the assembled officials were able to exit the building using a previously prepared emergency hatch. Some officials suffered minor injuries to their feet while escaping, including Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian."
The agency indicated that the possibility of infiltrating agents is being investigated, given the accuracy of the intelligence information Israel possessed regarding this attack.
On June 13, Israel, with US support, launched a 12-day aggression against Iran, targeting military and nuclear sites, civilian facilities, military leaders, and nuclear scientists.
Iran responded by targeting Israeli military and intelligence headquarters with ballistic missiles and drones. Washington then declared a ceasefire between the two sides on the 24th of the same month.
