With drones, the Houthis announce attacks on five Israeli targets, including two airports and a port.

Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said in a televised statement that the group carried out "a qualitative military operation targeting Lod Airport (Ben Gurion), another military target in the Jaffa area (Tel Aviv), the Umm al-Rashrash Port (Eilat), Ramon Airport, and a vital target in the Ashdod area (central) in occupied Palestine, using five drones. The operation successfully achieved its objectives."

He explained that the operation comes "in support of the oppressed Palestinian people, in response to the genocide committed by the Zionist enemy against our brothers in the Gaza Strip, and in response to its recent aggression on the port of Hodeidah."

He pointed out that "Yemen has been subjected to brutal aggression over the past months, and has succeeded in confronting it and remaining steadfast in its confrontation. It is prepared to confront any hostile moves in the coming period aimed at preventing it from fulfilling its religious, moral, and humanitarian duty toward the oppressed Palestinian people."

Regarding the future of the group's operations, Saree added, "We will continue and are committed to providing support and assistance to the oppressed Palestinian people. Our operations will not cease until the aggression against Gaza stops and the siege is lifted."

Prior to the Houthi statement, the Israeli occupation army claimed to have intercepted a drone "launched from Yemen," hours after its air force attacked the port of Hodeidah in the Arab country.

Earlier on Monday, the Israeli occupation forces launched new raids on the port of Hodeidah, in the 12th attack on Yemen since October 2023, according to a statement by Defense Minister Israel Katz.

The Houthi group insists on continuing its attacks on Israel until it ends its war of extermination against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.

The US-backed genocide left more than 200,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 9,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons and a famine that claimed the lives of many.
