According to a video posted by the overseas X account (formerly known as "Mr. Li is not your teacher") (@WHYYOUTOUZHELE), which boasts over a million followers, a silver sedan plowed into a crowd and then stopped at a school gate on Tuesday afternoon. Students were leaving school and parents were picking them up. Several adults and children with backpacks were knocked down, causing widespread wailing. The video shows many people, including those in uniformed security guards, surrounding the vehicle and attempting to lift it to free those trapped underneath. This station has been unable to independently verify this. The South China Morning Post in Hong Kong contacted the local police and hospital for inquiries, but they declined to provide details, though they also did not deny the incident. An online search reveals reports on the incident on NetEase and Sina.com, but clicking on the relevant pages reveals that the content has been deleted.
