Mexicali, May 8.- One dead and two injured is the result of an armed attack in the town of Guadalupe Victoria in the Mexicali Valley.
The attack occurred Saturday night, around 7:35 p.m., on 14th Street and Nicolás Bravo Avenue, in front of a commercial establishment.
The victim was identified as Carmelo, 27, while the injured were Nelson Alberto, 40, who was shot in the head and shoulder, and Jesús, 34, who was wounded in the right hand.
The three were in a Hyundai Elantra with California license plates, which had received 40 bullet wounds to the right doors. Another Toyota Corolla also had body damage from gunshot wounds.
During the transfer of the injured to Mexicali General Hospital, Carmelo went into cardiac arrest, so they were taken to IMSS Clinic 5 in the Nuevo León neighborhood, where he was declared lifeless. Meanwhile, the other two injured were taken to the hospital for medical attention.
