Tijuana, November 7. Néstor “N,” alias “El Parque,” will remain in prison after being charged with the murder of Cristian Vázquez , advisor to former Tecate mayor Darío Benítez.
The State Attorney General's Office (FGE) announced that the evidence gathered in the investigation was presented at the hearing and the judge decided to initiate proceedings against the accused for the homicide that occurred on May 27 at the Eufrasio Santana sports complex in Tecate.
In addition, a three-month period was granted for the development of the complementary investigation, which will conclude on February 5, 2025.
"El Parque" was arrested on November 1st at a rehabilitation center in Ensenada. He is accused of being one of the three perpetrators of Vázquez's murder.
