Mexican Government Supports Auction with a Cause in Baja California: Marina del Pilar

Tijuana, July 30.- Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda emphasized that the Mexican government supports the first Auction with a Cause held by the Institute to Return Stolen Goods to the People (INDEP) in the state.

He reiterated that the auction will follow the example of Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who has taken the lead in maximizing resources for the benefit of society, especially those most in need.

In this regard, he highlighted the ongoing coordination between INDEP and the Baja California government, as state personnel from the Baja California Institute of Insured Assets for Social Welfare (INDABE) have been trained to ensure a successful exercise.

For the Head of the State's Executive Branch, the importance of this support lies in the experience gained and challenges overcome over more than 30 years leading asset disposal processes, which facilitate the procedures for planning public auctions.

The accompaniment emphasized that transparency is the main public value regarding the economic outcome generated by this auction, since for the first time citizens will know the assets being auctioned, will be able to participate in the purchase of state assets, and will be able to witness the origin, purchase, sale, and destination of the funds obtained.
