Tijuana, June 6.- From June 6 to 30, universal registration for the Pension for the Welfare of Persons with Permanent Disabilities in Baja California begins, with a combined social investment of 759 million 49 thousand 200 pesos for this year, of which the Mexican and state governments each contributed 50 percent.
Welfare Secretary Ariadna Montiel Reyes highlighted that there are 151,945 people with disabilities in the state, of whom 51,174, being 65 years of age or older, are already registered with the Pension for the Welfare of Older Adults, and 23,317 already have a disability pension.
Therefore, with this action, they seek to assist 77,454 people in the state who were yet to receive disability pensions.
Services will be provided Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., through 17 registration modules deployed in the six municipalities, which can be found at: gob.mx/bienestar . Registration will be done alphabetically, based on the first surname.
