Tijuana, March 19. At around 3:30 p.m., on Baja California Avenue in the Camino Verde neighborhood, an armed attack was reported against a man driving a vehicle, which he lost control of, hitting a mother and her two-year-old daughter.
The man was traveling in a green Cherokee pickup truck when he was shot several times , and tried to escape.
Red Cross paramedics arrived at the scene and found the woman and the driver lifeless. The minor had to be taken to a hospital, where she was admitted in critical condition.
According to unofficial information, the woman who was hit was pregnant , however, authorities have not confirmed this.
The area was secured by Municipal Police officers and agents from the State Attorney General's Office (FGE) while the investigation was carried out.
So far, no one responsible has been arrested for this homicide.
