The "If you take drugs, you harm yourself" program is launched in high schools.

Mexicali, February 16. With the goal of informing high school students in Baja California about the dangers and consequences of drug use, the program " If You Do Drugs, You Harm Yourself " was launched this Friday at an event held at the Colegio de Bachilleres (Cobach) Miguel Hidalgo campus in Mexicali.

The Undersecretary of Secondary, Higher Education, and Research, Luis Miguel Buenrostro, reported that five cases have been reported throughout the state during the current school year in which a student brought drugs to high school.

He explained that Baja California has a protocol that both teachers and administrators must follow to address these types of situations.

Through the "If You Use Drugs, You Harm Yourself" program, all government agencies involved in the issue are being recruited to provide comprehensive services, including psychological and psychiatric care.

He emphasized that it is extremely important to involve parents in treating young people , as they are often unaware that their children are using substances.
