Tijuana, April 29. Staff training in all commercial sectors must be a constant priority so that collaboration agreements can be established with universities to provide courses and workshops to different productive sectors, said Miguel Ángel Badiola Montaño, candidate for mayor of Tijuana for the Baja California Solidarity Encounter Party (PES BC).
He admitted that "we can't just wait for business owners to promote the services they offer; we must be partners in the effort to let the world know about the good things that Tijuana has to offer," and he pledged that "from the government I will lead, thanks to the citizen vote," he will engage with the productive sector "to join their efforts to promote our city, with all its benefits."
He emphasized that the city has significant potential "for the development of new services, such as cultural tourism, meeting tourism, and ecotourism, among many others that generate millions in revenue for the productive sectors and, consequently, for the city council."
According to a press release, the candidate asserted that Tijuana is considered the regional service center, with a strong financial, healthcare, and education sector. He therefore emphasized that "the city council must be a permanent promoter of each of the city's productive activities, as an effective strategy for generating better sources of employment for Tijuana residents."
The city has a growing economy that goes hand in hand with the demand for high-quality services, hence the importance of worker training in all commercial sectors, according to the release.
