Mexicali, June 13.—In adherence to the right of Baja California families to financial security, the State Government, headed by Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda, invites the public to take advantage of the final weeks of the decree allowing the regularization of foreign-owned vehicles.
June 30th is the deadline to qualify for the foreign car regularization program, a program implemented by Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and operated in Baja California by the Ministry of Finance, headed by Marco Moreno Mexía.

The director of the Baja California Tax Administration Service (SATBC), Gustavo Santos Hernández, explained that during these weeks, the Public Vehicle Registry (REPUVE) modules will be operating at full capacity, in order to handle all scheduled appointments in a timely manner.
To schedule an appointment, go to https://regularizaauto.sspc.gob.mx/ and follow the steps. The cost of regularization is 2,500 pesos, and payment is made solely through a SAT form, said Director Santos Hernández.
The requirements are the CURP (Tax Identification Number); a document proving ownership (property title); a VIN beginning with 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5; a valid official ID; proof of residence (no older than three months in Baja California); a signed statement under oath; proof of payment to the SAT (Tax Administration Service); and a printed receipt for an appointment with the REPUVE (Republican Public Administration of Mexico) office.
