Anthropic announces $83.6 trillion data center project in the US

  Artificial intelligence (AI) company Anthropic announced a major partnership with British next-generation cloud service provider Fluidstack to build a US$50 billion (approximately Rp836 quadrillion) data center network in the United States.


As reported by Tech Crunch on Thursday, the data centers will be located in Texas and New York, and are scheduled to begin operations in stages in 2026. Anthropic said the facilities will be specifically designed to maximize efficiency for the company's AI workloads.


"We're approaching an era where AI can accelerate scientific discovery and help solve complex problems in ways never before possible. To realize this potential, we need an infrastructure capable of supporting development at the forefront," said Dario Amodei, CEO and founder of Anthropic.


Anthropic has previously established cloud partnerships with Google and Amazon, which are also among its investors, to meet Claude's large language model processing needs .
