Argentine national team midfielder Alexis Mac Allister imagined his family was nervous watching him and his older brother, Kevin Mac Allister, play together on the Argentine national team against Angola, Friday night WIB.
"They must have struggled to control their emotions throughout the match. But it was a special night for everyone," said Alexis, as quoted on the official website of the Argentine Football Federation (AFA) in Jakarta on Saturday.
In the match against Angola, Kevin Mac Allister made his debut with the Argentine national team at the age of 28.
The match marked Kevin's first time playing alongside his younger brother, Alexis (26 years old), who has been playing for the Argentine national team since 2019.
