Acting Director of the Media Ecosystem at the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi), Farida Dewi Maharani, emphasized that improving the quality of human resources (HR) depends not only on academic education, but also on the use of information technology and character building.
This was conveyed by Farida when accompanying a number of national and local media on a visit to the 20th Senior High School (SRMA) in Sleman, Yogyakarta, Friday.
"People's Schools don't just provide free education, but also open up access for children to learn using a digital approach, build character, and strengthen their soft skills," said Farida.
According to him, the integration of technology into the learning process at school is a concrete manifestation of equal access to quality education in the digital age. The development of information technology is now a crucial foundation in the world of education.
Through digital learning systems, students can broaden their horizons, adapt to changing times, and hone their critical and collaborative thinking skills.
"Technology is a bridge for children to learn more about the world. But technology alone isn't enough; character and commitment must be built from an early age," he stressed.
Farida also assessed that the People's School concept is in line with President Prabowo Subianto's vision to produce a superior and globally competitive generation.
