Red Bull driver Max Verstappen could not believe he had achieved a podium finish at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix which took place at the Interlagos Circuit, Sao Paulo, Monday morning WIB.
Verstappen, who started from the pit lane, achieved a fantastic achievement by overtaking 16 drivers and finally finishing on the third podium, behind McLaren driver Lando Norris and Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli.
"I thought the race was quite action-packed. I had to overtake a few cars, of course, coming from the pit lane. I think our pace was quite strong," Verstappen was quoted as saying on the Formula 1 website on Monday.
