Red Bull driver Max Verstappen is not confident he can overtake McLaren driver Lando Norris in the fight for the 2025 Formula 1 world championship title.
The Dutch racer believes that his current position in third place is very unlikely to reduce the points gap with Norris, who is currently at the top of the standings.
"It's too many points to really have a real chance of being world champion, I think," Verstappen said in an official Formula 1 statement on Monday.
