China has opened an innovative training school dedicated to teaching humanoid robots a variety of skills, from working in complex industrial environments to providing assistance in homes and public places

The new Phase II Beijing Humanoid Robot Data Training Center is located in the Shijingshan District of Beijing, and spans two floors. It simulates reality by recreating industrial production lines and everyday living environments, with training modules that can be quickly reconfigured to adapt scenarios to operational needs.

The 1.65-meter-tall, humanoid robot "Quavo" is the focus of the training, with the center using a 5G-A network to develop its complex motor skills. The training methodology is based on simulating human learning, with each robot accompanied by human trainers who teach practical skills through repetition and various scenarios.

The center aims to address the lack of realistic and standardized data that hinders the development of artificial intelligence models, by generating millions of high-quality data inputs annually, in cooperation with similar centers in several Chinese cities.

The training process follows an academic system, where robots can enroll in major disciplines including industrial manufacturing, smart home applications, elderly care services, and 5G network integration scenarios, distributed across 16 specific fields, through which they acquired more than 20 operational skills with a success rate exceeding 95%.

The fruits of the training have begun to appear on the ground, as several trained robots have been deployed in real work sites, such as the factories of the Chinese FAW Group of Automobiles and the stations of the China Southern Power Grid Corporation, indicating the transfer of this technology from the laboratory to daily practical and industrial applications.
