Xiaomi has announced a new phone that rivals the best smartphones currently available in terms of specifications and photography capabilities.
The Poco M8 Pro phone has a water and dust resistant body according to the IP68/IP69K standard, its dimensions are (163.3/78.3/8.3) mm, and it weighs 206 g.
Its screen is a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of (1280/2772) pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a pixel density of approximately 447 pixels/inch, a brightness of up to 1800 nits, and it is supported with HDR10+ and Dolby Visio technologies to provide a distinctive display of images and videos. It is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which is resistant to shocks and scratches.
The device’s outstanding performance is ensured by the “Android-15” operating system with HyperOS 2 interfaces, Qualcomm SM7635-AC Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, Adreno 810 graphics processor, 8/12 GB RAM, and 256/512 GB internal memory.
Its main camera is a dual-lens camera with a resolution of (50+8) megapixels, including an ultrawide lens, and its front camera has a resolution of 32 megapixels.
The phone also features two SIM card slots, a USB Type-C 2.0 port, an NFC chip, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, infrared technology for remote electronics control, and a 6500 mAh battery that works with a 100W super-fast charger and can provide reverse charging for phones and mobile devices at 22.5W.
