The Ministry of Communication and Digital believes that strengthening the verification system is crucial to protecting the public from the rise in fraudulent activities.
Teguh Arifiyadi, Director of Electronic Transaction and Certification Supervision at the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, stated that the government is currently consolidating prevention efforts across various sectors to strengthen public protection against fraud.
"For example, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) has the IASC (Indonesia Anti-Scam Center), the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) has several prevention services, and the National Police (Polri) and the private sector provide prevention services," Teguh said when met.
He added that in the future, his party would prepare cooperation models with the private sector to intensify efforts to prevent fraud.
