The Ministry of Communication and Digital has prepared 386 digital posts and an integrated monitoring system to maintain network quality, transportation safety, and public transactions during the 2026 Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr homecoming period.Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid emphasized that telecommunications networks are the backbone of public mobility during the homecoming (mudik) period. According to her, telecommunications traffic increases significantly during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, particularly along homecoming routes, transportation hubs, tourist areas, places of worship, and residential areas.
"Therefore, digital infrastructure readiness must be integrated with overall transportation and public safety readiness," said Meutya at the Cross-Ministry Coordination Meeting at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture.
