The Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) and electronic certificate provider (PSrE) Privy are encouraging the public to develop the habit of verifying digital documents before trusting, signing, or making decisions through the #CekDuluBaruPercaya initiative.Teguh Arifiyadi, Director of Electronic Transaction and Certification Supervision at the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, emphasized that the rise in digital document-based fraud demonstrates the urgency of building a culture of verification.
According to him, many documents appear very neat and convincing, even though their validity cannot be guaranteed.
