The Ministry of Communication and Digital stated that the most common digital document fraud cases occur under the guise of job openings.
"At Komdigi, the number of fraud reports is in the hundreds of thousands, and what are the documents we found most related to? Job openings, that's the most prevalent," said Teguh Arifiyadi, Director of Certification and Electronic Transaction Supervision at the Ministry of Komdigi.
He added that perpetrators usually distribute documents in various formats such as PDF files, images, and infographics that are made to resemble official company documents.
