Djokovic is confident in Indian Wells thanks to his Australian Open results.
Novak Djokovic is ready to compete at the BNP Paribas Open after reaching the Australian Open final, which has boosted his confidence to be able to compete against his younger rivals, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.

In Melbourne, Djokovic defeated two-time defending champion Sinner in five sets before losing to world No. 1 Alcaraz in the final. The 38-year-old could face Alcaraz again in the semifinals of the ATP Masters 1000 in Indian Wells.

"It was an incredible start to the year for me," Djokovic said in a pre-tournament press conference, as quoted by the ATP, Thursday.

"Considering I haven't reached a major final since Wimbledon in 2024, and lost to Sinner or Alcaraz in all the Grand Slams last year, it was an incredible feeling to beat Sinner in five sets in one of the most epic matches I've played recently in Australia."
