The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has partnered with TNT Sports, part of the global entertainment company Warner Bros., to broadcast every international tournament throughout the United States (US) until 2029.
The FIBA website stated that through the partnership, TNT will broadcast various major FIBA competitions on linear television and digital platforms.
The deal is expected to strengthen basketball's international exposure in the US market, which has long been synonymous with the sport.
Under the agreement, a number of prestigious events will be broadcast, including the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 in Germany in September, and the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027.
