Satria Muda Pertamina Bandung leads the temporary standings of the 2026 Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) after defeating Satya Wacana Salatiga with a score of 97-59 at the Bandung Arena, in their first match in the second round.
According to the IBL website, this result puts Satria Muda in first place in the standings with 21 points from 11 matches. Their only loss came against Pelita Jaya.
"I think this was a tough match for us, especially since we're coming back after a long mid-season break. We tried to get our energy up in the first half and maintain it in the second half," said Satria Muda player Chad Brown.
Brown performed brilliantly in the match with a double-double record of 15 points and 14 rebounds .
Satria Muda also got nearly 50 percent of their points from the bench, which contributed 47 points, with Jordan Ivy-Curry leading the way with 20 points.
The home team was also accurate in its three-point shooting. Satria Muda made 15 of 41 three-point attempts. This effectiveness gave Satria Muda a 46-point lead over Satya Wacana before sealing the victory.
Meanwhile, on the Satya Wacana team, Serhii Pavlov appeared dominant by contributing 17 points and making 18 rebounds , plus 19 points from Kevin Kangu.
Jerry Lolowang's team only recorded 25 percent of their field goal points , only making 16 of their 63 attempts throughout the match.
Satya Wacana currently sits in 10th place out of 11 teams in the 2026 IBL standings with 12 points.
So far, they have only won once out of the 11 matches they have played.
