MirSix Global CEO Joko Jung is open to recruiting Indonesian athletes as brand ambassadors after recruiting former Indonesian national team coach Shin Tae-yong as part of MirSix Global.
MirSix Global's presence serves as a bridge connecting micro, small, and medium enterprises between South Korea and Indonesia. One of these is sports products.
"Coach STY is here as an ambassador for this event. Going forward, he will assist our company, although he is not currently a brand ambassador for a specific product," said Joko Jung at a press conference.
"Of course, we want to have brand ambassadors from Indonesian athletes, especially since there are so many people here who are interested in sports," Jung added.
MirSix Global has previously recruited South Korean badminton player An Se-young as a brand ambassador for its sports products.
Separately, Shin Tae-yong hopes that in the future, cooperation between the two parties will be able to bring collaboration that improves the image of sports.
"Thank you for the invitation from MirSix Global. I hope the cooperation between Indonesia and Korea will continue and be successful," said Shin Tae-yong.
The General Chairperson of Iwapi DKI , Endah Anondo Ansoroeddin, also emphasized the important role of entrepreneurs, including women, in advancing the economy in the modern era through a strong platform.
With the support of a popular figure like Shin Tae-yong, it is hoped that economic cooperation between Korea and Indonesia will not only be a business transaction, but also become a momentum for broader cultural and technological exchange.
