The National News Agency received two awards from the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) during the agency's 80th anniversary celebration, which carried the theme "Cyber Sovereignty Strengthens National Resilience."
Head of BSSN Lieutenant General TNI (Ret.) Nugroho Sulistyo Budi said that appreciation was given to the media on the occasion of BSSN's eight decades considering the media's significant role in building public awareness about cybersecurity.
"On this occasion, we express our appreciation to the media for their contribution, along with the BSSN, to building digital security literacy in the public sphere," Sulistyo said in his remarks at the BSSN's 80th anniversary celebration at the BSSN office.
Sulistyo said that the importance of building awareness about cybersecurity cannot be implemented by BSSN alone, given the large population of Indonesia.
With the existence of media with a wide reach, the role of fostering digital literacy can be carried out through collaboration and ultimately public awareness of cybersecurity issues can grow more easily.
