Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa confirmed his team's readiness to face the immense pressure from Bayern Munich in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday.
Arbeloa said Madrid has a strong tradition when facing big teams, including Bayern, who are having an extraordinary season.
"We knew they would put a lot of pressure on us on the pitch," he was quoted as saying by beIN Sports.
This match is a momentum for Madrid to bounce back after being defeated 1-2 by Mallorca in the Spanish League match last week, which left them seven points behind Barcelona.
Arbeloa emphasized that his team doesn't want to dwell on disappointment. He urged the players to focus fully on the match against Bayern.
