Deputy Minister of Creative Economy/Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf) Irene Umar believes that the 2026 HoYo FEST can strengthen the involvement of local creators in Indonesia's sustainable creative economy ecosystem.
Irene said the Hoyoverse community could play a role in educating young creators in the creative production process, for which the Ministry of Creative Economy is currently developing a curriculum, and developing a creative ecosystem from elementary school students to university students.
"It doesn't have to be directly at the intellectual property (IP) stage, but rather the creation process itself. We hope HoYoverse can play a role in educating creators on the production process and collaborating with other creative economy subsectors," said the Deputy Minister of Creative Economy in a statement received.
