Indonesian tennis player Aldila Sutjiadi and her doubles partner, Vera Zvonareva, came from behind in the semifinals of the 2026 Morocco Open on Thursday to secure a place in the final round of the WTA 250 Rabat event.
Aldila/Vera, the top seeds, managed to equalize the score to beat the Slovenian-Polish pair Nika Radisic/Katarzyna Piter 4-6, 6-2, 10-6.
According to WTA records, Aldila/Vera, with their powerful serves, managed to connect 71 percent of their first serves. However, that wasn't enough when their opponents committed fewer double faults and led in returns.
In the second set, Aldila/Vera rose to dominate the game by recording 80 percent of points from the first serve, and 80 percent of points from the second serve.
They also converted two of their five break point opportunities, winning six of the eight games to level the match, and forcing Piter/Radisic to a super tie-break.
