Gresini Racing rider Alex Marquez is preparing for the Czech Grand Prix which will take place at the Brno Circuit this weekend.
Gresini Racing confirmed that Alex Marquez is ready to fly to Brno and will undergo a medical check-up before hitting the track.
"BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP has confirmed that Alex Marquez will travel to Brno this week, with the intention of taking part in the Monster Energy Czech Grand Prix. He will undergo his official medical examination on Thursday at the circuit which will determine his fitness to take part in the race weekend," Gresini Racing wrote, as quoted by MotoGP, Wednesday.
Previously, Alex had an accident while competing in the Catalunya MotoGP, which caused him to miss two races, namely Italy and Hungary, due to the healing process.
If Alex is declared fit and has no problems during free practice 1, the Spanish racer will certainly return to compete in the Czech GP.
