An Egyptian media figure responds to a doctor's call to test the "good diet" on diabetic patients

Egyptian media figure Nashaat Al-Daihi launched a fierce attack on a doctor's announcement that he was opening the door for "donors" from among diabetic patients to apply what is known as the "Goodness System" of the late Al-Awadi to them.

During his program "With Pen and Paper" on the "Ten" satellite channel, Nashaat Al-Dehi said that the doctor is seeking to test the "Goodness System" called for by Dr. Diaa Al-Awadi, by conducting scientific research and searching for patients as volunteers to undergo the experiment, while denouncing the lack of oversight of such medical practices.

Al-Dahi wondered, with surprise, about the mechanism for allowing such research without an official license, saying: “Is it reasonable for anyone to conduct scientific research on patients without the approval of the Ministry of Health, the Doctors and Pharmacists Syndicate, or the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research? Has it become permissible for anyone to bring in citizens and conduct his own experiments on them?” (as guinea pigs).

He warned against being swept along by these unregulated calls, and expressing his astonishment, he said: "How can a rational and educated society living in the 21st century and the age of artificial intelligence abandon science and head towards unscientific paths that threaten the lives of patients?"

Dr. Ali Al-Khatib had written a post on his personal page on social media in which he said: “In order to be fair to the Tayyibat system, I decided to follow up on cases of type 1 and type 2 diabetes, and try the Tayyibat system with them, and publish the experience on the page, after I saw the analyses of a Sudanese brother who was cured of diabetes and completely stopped taking insulin.”

He added: “I need volunteers willing to send daily blood sugar tests before and after the diet, and a strong will to stop eating eggs and chicken, eat meat only once a week, and rely on white rice, potatoes and whole wheat bread in meals, while continuing with medication.”
