Occupied Jerusalem: At least 12 people were killed in Israeli raids on southern Lebanon on Wednesday, according to a medical source, while the official National News Agency confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces launched widespread attacks on several villages.
The source, who asked not to be identified, said that “the number of martyrs from the Israeli raids in the town of Tayr Dibba is eight, and in Deir Qanoun al-Nahr it is four.”
The National News Agency reported at least four airstrikes on Tyre and at least two on Deir Qanoun al-Nahr.
Israel continues its aggression against Lebanon despite the agreement, and in parallel with negotiations between the two countries under American auspices, the next round of which will be held in Washington during the week beginning June 22.
Earlier on Wednesday, Avichai Adraee, the Israeli army spokesman for Arab media, published two separate evacuation warnings via the “X” platform, which has become a daily, recurring policy.
The first warning was directed to the residents of the villages of Ghassaniya (South Governorate) and Houmin al-Fouqa (Nabatieh Governorate), and it said: “You must evacuate your homes immediately and stay away from the villages for a distance of no less than 1000 meters.”
The second one was addressed to the residents of Ansariyeh village (South Governorate), and it said: “You must evacuate your homes immediately and move to the north of the Zahrani River.”
Adraee added that the two warnings come before an attack on what he claimed were “Hezbollah targets.”
On Tuesday, 15 people were killed and 42 others, including two paramedics, were injured in Israeli airstrikes on several areas in southern Lebanon , according to official data.
For its part, Hezbollah announced in a statement on Wednesday that its members targeted a gathering of Israeli vehicles and soldiers in the town of Al-Bayada in southern Lebanon, while the occupation army warned the Lebanese in southern villages to evacuate before attacking them, as part of its bloody violations of the fragile ceasefire agreement in effect since April 17.
Hezbollah said in a statement that “in defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the Israeli enemy’s violation of the ceasefire and the attacks that targeted villages in southern Lebanon and resulted in the martyrdom of a number of civilians and injuries, the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance targeted, at 00:00 on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, a gathering of vehicles and soldiers of the Israeli enemy army in the town of Al-Bayyada in southern Lebanon with a rocket salvo.”
Lebanon, Israel and the United States announced in a joint statement on Thursday that Beirut and Tel Aviv had agreed to implement a ceasefire conditional on a complete cessation of fire by Hezbollah and the removal of all its elements from south of the Litani River in southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese government is implementing a plan to restrict weapons to the state, including Hezbollah's weapons, but the party is holding on to its weapons and insists that it is a resistance movement against the Israeli occupation.
Since March 2, Israel has been waging a large-scale offensive against Lebanon, which has left 3,666 martyrs and 11,324 wounded as of Tuesday, in addition to more than one million displaced people, according to official data.
Israel occupies areas in southern Lebanon, some for decades, and others since the previous war between 2023 and 2024, while during the current aggression it has penetrated more than 10 kilometers.
Israel also occupies Palestine and territories in Syria, and refuses to withdraw from them and allow the establishment of an independent Palestinian state as stipulated in the relevant United Nations resolutions.
