Indonesia seeks to build military cooperation with Germany

 




  The Indonesian government is seeking to build military cooperation with Germany to strengthen the country's defense system.

This effort was seen when the Indonesian Minister of Defense  Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin received a state visit from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Germany Abdul Kadir Jailani at the Indonesian Ministry of Defense Building.

In a press release received , it was explained that the two parties discussed various forms of cooperation in the defense sector.

"The meeting discussed various opportunities to strengthen bilateral relations between Indonesia and Germany, particularly in the areas of defense, education, and military training," the press release stated.

In addition, the two parties also discussed cooperation in the field of developing the domestic defense industry.

Sjafrie hopes that the cooperation plans that have been discussed can be realized as soon as possible by the Indonesian Ministry of Defense and the German Government.

He also hopes that the meeting will further strengthen bilateral relations between Indonesia and Germany.

With this relationship, Sjafrie believes that Indonesia's position in the eyes of the world will become stronger in the military and bilateral fields.
