KORMI DKI increases collaboration with the government towards FORNAS 2027

The Indonesian Community Sports Committee  of DKI  has reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing collaboration with the government and various stakeholders towards the 2027 National Community Sports Festival .

In the 2026 Working Meeting in the Chairperson of KORMI DKI  Diana Dewi emphasized that preparations cannot be done instantly because they require thorough planning, continuous coaching, and strong coordination between INORGA  so that  can perform optimally in the national event.

"Champions aren't born during a match. Champions are formed long before that, through daily preparation, discipline, and consistency," Diana said, as quoted in a statement received.

According to Diana, this year's work meeting has strategic significance because it is the starting point for a major consolidation of all KORMI elements ahead of FORNAS 2027.

Not only did it enhance collaboration with the government and various stakeholders, he said that through the 2026 Working Meeting, KORMI DKI  strengthened the organization and built a broader and more sustainable community sports ecosystem.

With the spirit of Advanced KORMI, Healthy Society, Great Indonesia, all the working meeting participants agreed to make FORNAS 2027 a shared target that must be prepared for now.

"Not only to achieve success, but also to strengthen the healthy living movement that reaches all levels of  society," he said.

He stated that KORMI DKI  has received a significant mandate from the Jakarta Provincial Government. The Governor of DKI  urged KORMI to become a driving force for community sports that is increasingly massive, structured, and inclusive, and that has a real impact on all  residents.

This message, according to Diana, is an encouragement for all KORMI ranks to continue expanding community participation in various health sports activities, traditional sports, adventure and challenge sports, and cultural-based sports that are Indonesia's wealth.
