In this context, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported that the number of martyrs had risen to three in the raid that targeted the camp, while medical sources in the Gaza Strip stated that the death toll from Israeli bombing throughout the Strip since dawn today had risen to 10 martyrs.
For its part, the Israeli army announced that it had targeted a scarf, claiming that it was a “Hamas operative,” without providing evidence to support this accusation.
Following the incident, Al Jazeera condemned the continued Israeli crimes against its journalists, noting that Wishah was the twelfth journalist working for the network to be killed in the Gaza Strip since the start of the war.
The network said in a statement that it “condemns the continuation of these crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces against its correspondents and staff in Gaza,” reiterating its demand for the international community and relevant legal institutions to take urgent practical measures to hold Israeli officials accountable for targeting journalists.
Earlier on Saturday, seven Palestinians, including four from the same family, were killed and others were injured as a result of continued Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip despite the ceasefire that has been in effect since October 10, 2025.

On Saturday morning, six Palestinians, including a couple and their two daughters, were killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted their home near the Al-Tayaran intersection in central Gaza.
According to eyewitnesses, an Israeli airstrike targeted the home of the Safadi family at dawn, resulting in the death of the couple Hussein and Rana Safadi and their two daughters, Zeina (6 years old) and Lana (13 years old), and injuring a number of other family members and residents in the vicinity of the house.
A Palestinian woman was also killed by Israeli gunfire in Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip, according to a medical source.
In another attack, Palestinian Ahmed Munir Al-Zaza (38 years old) was killed, and a woman was moderately wounded as a result of shelling from an Israeli drone that targeted passersby near Al-Safatawi roundabout, north of Gaza City.
Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, up to Thursday, have resulted in the martyrdom of 1,007 Palestinians and the injury of 3,165 others, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
