Fast landing and transport boats, as well as the "Haska-10" air cushion ship, were displayed at the International Military Maritime Exhibition "IMDS-2026" in St. Petersburg.

The exhibition is being held in the Kronstadt suburb from June 10 to 14. The three exhibits are developed by the Russian company Kalashnikov.

The experience of the special military operation clearly demonstrated the army's need for fast, well-armed assault boats. The battles on the Dnieper Islands and the operations in the coastal region required units to be able to land troops quickly and with maximum stealth. Large landing ships could not be used in such conditions, so small, fast boats were employed.

The PK-16 fast amphibious assault craft is designed to transport up to 19 troops and land them on unprepared beaches. The craft is capable of providing fire support, evacuating the wounded, and combating pirates and terrorists. The cockpit, cabin, crew quarters, and engine room are all armored.

Armament: The boat's weapons include four machine guns (7.62 mm and 12.7 mm) and a 40 mm grenade launcher. It has a crew of two, a top speed of 42 knots (approximately 77 km/h), and a range of at least 400 nautical miles.

The PK-10 is a more compact assault boat . It can carry up to 10 landing personnel and has a similar mission. It also has a crew of two, and its maximum speed is no less than 40 knots (about 74 km/h).

It has previously been reported that the PK-10 and PK-16 were successfully used in combating Ukrainian unmanned boats.

It is an air cushion vessel with flexible supports, developed in collaboration with the Krylov Research Center. The vessel can operate in any conditions, down to -40°C, at speeds of up to 40 knots, and can carry a payload of up to 10 tons. The cargo deck allows for the installation of interchangeable modules, making the vessel highly adaptable to different tasks. The flexible supports of the Haska vessel provide it with excellent traverse capabilities in ice fields and highly undulating terrain.
