Samsung is optimistic that the Galaxy S26 FE will sell well despite the price increase

Samsung is optimistic that the Galaxy S26 FE smartphone will record good sales figures in the Indonesian market, despite its higher price compared to previous-generation devices due to rising global chip prices.
The company designed the Galaxy S FE model for Samsung smartphone users who want to upgrade their experience from using a mid-range device to a flagship device at an affordable price.

"We see that users of the (Samsung Galaxy) A5 and even A7 who were previously available have finally switched to the Galaxy S FE, especially the Galaxy S25 FE last year," said MX Product Marketing Senior Manager of Samsung Electronics Indonesia Ilham Indrawan at the launch of the Galaxy S26 FE in Jakarta, Monday.

"That's also what we saw in the Galaxy S26 FE this year," he added.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is marketed in Indonesia at a price of IDR 11,999,000 for the variant with 8GB/128GB RAM/ROM.

The phone's price is almost Rp2 million higher compared to the Galaxy S25 FE with the same memory, which is offered.

Ilham stated that around 60 percent of Galaxy S FE buyers were consumers who had previously used Galaxy A series phones.

According to him, a similar trend will likely occur in the marketing of the Galaxy S26 FE cellphone in Indonesia.

In addition, Ilham said, optimism regarding the sales achievements of the Galaxy S26 FE is based on the offers the company has prepared for consumers.

The company offers phones with enhanced performance for long-term use along with cashback for consumers who pre-order, use certain credit cards and bank services, or use trade-in services.
