Saudi motorcycles arrived in Syria as part of the "Saudi-Syrian Rally 2026" event, in a cross-border journey that combines sporting adventure with the discovery of historical and natural landmarks in a number of cities.

The journey includes about 45 Saudi cyclists, whose journey started from the city of Jeddah on October 2, before making its way north through a number of Saudi stations, including Yanbu, Al Wajh, Duba, Neom and Haql, then crossing Jordanian territory to reach the Nasib border crossing and entering Syrian territory yesterday.
The tour inside Syria began in Damascus, where the program includes a visit to a number of historical landmarks and old markets, most notably the Umayyad Mosque, in addition to tours in the vicinity of the capital and its countryside.
The journey is not limited to the sporting aspect, as its route has a tourist and cultural character, through getting acquainted with the cities and sites that the bikes pass through, and stopping at their most prominent landmarks.
After Damascus, participants head towards the Syrian coast, passing through stations in Mashta al-Helou, Tartous and Latakia, along a route that allows cyclists to move between different geographical environments, from the interior regions to the coastal nature.
The tour includes tourist, natural and cultural stops, before returning to Damascus at the end of the program scheduled for October 12.
The event offers a different model for overland trips between Saudi Arabia and Syria, as the road itself becomes part of the experience, from the historic cities of Damascus to the mountainous and coastal regions, in a journey that extends over several days and combines the hobby of cycling with discovering the tourist face of Syria.
